Equipment

  • 1 Potato Slicer To make homemade chips
  • 1 Deep Fryer or Air Flyer To make homemade chips
  • 1 Toaster or Oven to toast buns
  • 10 Skewers or Long Toothpicks

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Crab Cakes Patties Recipe "Crab Cakes"
  • 2 Large Potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 2 cups Fresh Arugula
  • 10 Mini Brioche Buns
  • 2 Plum Tomatoes sliced
  • Spicy Aioli Sauce
  • Kosher Salt for Seasoning

Instructions
 

Start by making potato chips

  • Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly (the size of regular chips).
    2 Large Potatoes
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a fryer. Deep fry the potato slices for 5-7 minutes until golden and fully cooked
  • Let them dry on a paper towel, and then sprinkle them with salt.
    Kosher Salt for Seasoning

Prepare the brioche buns

  • Toast the brioche buns in a toaster or oven until warm and crispy.

Layering the sliders

  • Start assembling the crab cake sliders (see the recipe for "crab cakes").
    10 Crab Cakes Patties
  • Cover the bottom bun with spicy aioli sauce.

  • Add arugula, a slice of tomato, and 1 crab cake patty.
    2 cups Fresh Arugula, 2 Plum Tomatoes, 10 Crab Cakes Patties
  • Top with aioli sauce again, as well as arugula.

  • Cover the assembled sliders with bun tops and secure them with a skewer or long toothpick.
  • Serve with a side of potato chips and lemon aioli.
