Pillowy-Soft Syrniki
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Farmer's cheese quark cheese
- 10 tbsp. Sugar
- 2 Eggs room temperature
- 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp. Flour for the mixture
- 1 cup Flour
- Grapeseed oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl prepare the pancake mix.
- Combine the farmer's cheese, eggs, flour, vanilla extract, and sugar. Mix well.
- Scoop out approximately ¼ cup of pancake dough at a time.
- Form the syrniki pancakes like a ball. Set aside a bowl with flour.
- Coat the syrniki balls in flour.
- In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of oil, and gently place the flour-coated cheese pancakes into the pan.
- Cook on medium-high heat for about 4 minutes per side.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet and let it sit for about 2 minutes.
- Place the syrniki on a paper towel to cool.
- Serve with syrup, sweet condensed milk, powdered sugar, whipped cream, or berries.
