What Can I Do With Jicama?
Jicama is probably one of the best vegetables that you aren’t eating! This root vegetable, native to Mexico, is available nearly year-round and is an excellent source of both vitamin C and fiber.
However, most people don’t know how to use this vegetable. Duet’s chef, Dmitry Rodov, recently told “Serious Eats” how he prepares this tasty vegetable. Chef Rodov likes to julienne them to french fry size, boil them for three or four minutes tops to soften them, dry them out, and deep-fry them.
